Moscow, School # 1794

1. We are from Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation and center of the Moscow Metropolitan Area. It is the largest city in Russia, with a population of 12,330,126 people (data from a 2016 census). Moscow is situated on the Moskva River, its namesake, and in between the Volga and Oka rivers, in the East European Plain. Moscow shares borders with the Moscow Oblast and the Kaluga Oblast.

2. Moscow School No. 1794 is a school with deeper focus on selected subjects. We have a school newspaper and our buildings house several museums: “USSR Hero G. K. Zhukov Museum of War,” “Siberian Seamen Museum of War,” “Russian Life and Crafts” and “The Russian Home.” We have in-depth extracurriculars in the following areas: sciences, teaching, technology, sports, and art.
